Wali contacts and Active Wali: two different steps
Women need recorded wali details before accepting a conversation request. Saving these details does not invite a guardian or give them access to conversations.
A woman can choose to share her recorded wali contact details within a conversation and hide them again. Separately, she can invite an Active Wali. Once that connection is active, the guardian has read-only access to the linked conversations.
Active Wali access is a separate connection, not something automatically created at registration. The current app marks photo sharing as coming soon. Do not assume a guardian is reading a conversation simply because contact details have been saved.
If you are unsure how to involve your wali in your circumstances, ask the support team about the product steps and seek qualified religious guidance for a personal ruling.
Read before you request
Profiles include religious practice, preferences and marriage expectations. Consider location, family responsibilities and what each person means by their chosen religious description. These details are self-reported.

Know your boundaries and membership
Review profile visibility, reporting, blocking and the current photo policy. Check membership terms and request limits before paying. An introduction does not guarantee a reply or a marriage.
